What is the correct cpt code for the IPK excision with curettage?

    Call me crazy, but I am thinking the provider went deeper for removal than
    needed...



    IPK would be coded for removal as 11055, 11056, 11057, (callus removal).



    If the removed specimen was sent for pathology, you could consider biopsy
    codes - but your documentation probably wouldn't prove it, based on what you
    wrote.



    'IPK' is a viable description of a patient's presentation, unfortunately it
    is still coded as callus, and callus removal.
