Chronic care management codes

Are you finding success billing chronic care management code 99490? How
about the new complex CCM codes?

If so, do you have any pushback from patients about cost-sharing? Is that
an issue or concern?

    Hello

    We have been billing CCM successfully. It took a bit of strategy to operationalize for our system, but we did it. Reconciliation for a non-encounter visit and ongoing calculations of the minutes were the trickiest aspects but we overcame.

    We have been successful with billing of code 99490. However, we are having problems when trying to bill 2 hours or more of CCM services using the new 2017 CCM codes. Anyone have some advice/input on how these should be billed?
