AMPUTATION REVISION QUESTION
I need help coding this report. Patient already underwent left above knee amputation now coming back one month later with above knee amputation necrosis with breakdown. The physicians performed debridment and revision of the amputation site. The incision was reopened escising the necrotic tissue down to the bone. The femu was transected for an additional 5 cm using a Stryker saw. Debridement of all nonviable-appearing tissue then ensued using Bovie Electrocautery and sharp excision with a 10- blade scapel.
Thanks in advance.
