Good morning Listers!!!!
I believe that there is a section of the ACA rules that require carriers to receive files for electronic verification of eligibility. The part I cannot remember is whether it says they must receive and respond to those files for free or if they may charge for the transmissions???
I know if you use and intermediary like a clearinghouse, the clearinghouse can charge.......
Any thoughts??? And can anyone remember where that information is???
Thank you!!!
